Our Esp and Electronic warning lights come on for around 5 seconds, coupled with no power. After this the lights go out and power is restored. The dealer says it's shows 'low voltage' on the fault reader. I've put a new battery which seemed to clear the fault for around 6 weeks but it's returned. Erratic Idle Speed. 4 week old Duster 1.6 Sce 4WD. I've noticed that the idle speed intermittently fluctuates between 1000rpm and 2500 rpm, especially when in neutral and stationary. Sometimes can jump to 3000rpm - happened at a zebra crossing the other day which was embarrassing. If you've got 'no start' problems the first place to check is the OBD socket under the dash with a cheap OBD reader and an Android phone/Tablet with Torque code reader.
