And stay calm, if you get hit don't freak out. #10. Office™ Feb 25, 2017 @ 11:04am. First time i encountered Aldrich (i was lvl 58) i ran up to him/her/it and literally got one shot by her arrows. #11. Bloodyfish Feb 25, 2017 @ 2:23pm. Originally posted by LIVAIJ™:
Poise builds go up to around 40 vit (full Havel except Black Iron Helm) or 44+ for full Havel. Roughly, for every 10 points of Vitality you gain 9 Flat Defense and of course 10 Equip Load maximum. That is assuming SL 1 base 10's and you level nothing but Vitality. A base SL 120 (49 VIT / 30 END / 40 DEX / 40 STR) has 80 Flat Naked Defense.
Upgrade Materials. In Dark Souls 3 you can improve the damage/protection (and potential Scaling) on your Weapons and Shields. To do this you must have the appropriate amount of the relevant Upgrade Materials, Souls and access to Blacksmith Andre. Titanite Shards will reinforce a Weapon or Shield up to +3, Large Titanite Shards will reinforce
It is viable strat for pve. First level up vigor to 20, so the start of the game is easier. Then start put points in vitality, and leave vigor be. You need big shield with 100% phys resiatance and as much elemental res as possible. If you do it right you can block multiple hits in a row from bosses like dancer.
Focus on getting VIG to 20-24, END to 16-20 and then start levelling STR or DEX depending on the weapon you want to use. This, damage increases are really small at first anyway so you'll gain more benefit from HP/Stamina, I usually level up to 20 VIG by using the souls from Iudex, giant crystal lizard, swordmaster and whatever other mobs/souls
Whatever Soul Level you feel you need. A lot of people stick to SL120 so they can use their character for meta-level duels/invasions/coop still. Others just keep leveling. Really depends on your playstyle. In terms of damage output, you'll probably end up somewhere in the SL250s-300s if you're just looking for more AR (for faster progression).

1-Stats. The most important thing about a pyromancer are Faith and Inteligence, that means, pyromancies will scale in both stats with C/C (because the pyro flames), but i discovered that pyros scale more with Faith than Inteligence, (Fth x1.4 / Int x1.0) and pyros require Int investment. The softcaps are in 35/35 and hardcaps in 45/45, but
level 55 for an invader invading between pontiff and anor londo will see you get loads of invasions. this level will also work great for dungeon/ profaned. I've seen people recommend 70 but that's too fucking high, you'll miss almost all the hosts going through and invade almost exclusively into gank squads.
Level 10-20 should suffice. You really just need ~20 vigor, then they give you a dark ax early on. Being that level lets you pick decent phantoms (it's easy to tell the mini-maxers by their armor). Doomed to obscurity forever What I deserve for not taking this more seriously.
Originally posted by 鵺 Rias: the meta for level is 120-150 soul level. Anything above 120 is clearly to high. DS2 was 120-130 and DS3 has one stat less people need to put points into. There is no adaptability this time around so SL 100 in DS3 is basically equal to SL 120 in DS2.
